Jampur Group is pleased to announce that it has entered advanced discussions with the Government of Delta State, Nigeria, to explore major investments in the power and agriculture sectors.

During a high-level meeting held at Government House, Asaba, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, and Mr. Mohammad Shafiq, Chief Executive Officer of Jampur Group, discussed collaborative initiatives aimed at enhancing energy generation, agricultural productivity, and renewable energy adoption within the state.

The proposed projects under consideration include:

  • A 100MW Floating Power Barge, designed to boost power supply reliability across Delta State, leveraging Jampur’s proven expertise in energy infrastructure.

  • Smart Metering Systems to improve power distribution efficiency and transparency for both residential and industrial users.

  • A Fertilizer Blending Plant, supporting local farmers with affordable and high-quality agricultural inputs.

  • A Solar Panel Assembly and Manufacturing Facility to accelerate clean energy access and promote local job creation.

Mr. Mohammad Shafiq emphasized Jampur Group’s commitment to sustainable development, stating:
