Jampur Group is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kaduna Electric Distribution Company (KEDCO) for the joint development of a 100 megawatt (MW) solar energy project with an integrated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Northern Nigeria.

The project aims to deliver clean, reliable, and sustainable energy to KEDCO’s franchise areas covering Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara States, while supporting Nigeria’s broader renewable energy and industrial growth objectives.

Speaking at the signing ceremony in Kaduna, KEDCO Chairman Aminu Suleiman highlighted the collaboration as a major step toward resolving regional power supply challenges and fostering inclusive economic growth.
